Abstract:
To provide a diaphragm and a diaphragm valve, in which when the diaphragm deformed with upward and downward movement of an actuator returns into an original shape, the diaphragm can return into the original shape without receiving external force from the actuator.SOLUTION: A non-metal diaphragm is attached to an opening 31 open in a direction orthogonal to a flow passage 30 of a valve body 3 to open and close the flow passage 30 that has an inflow passage 30A and an outflow passage 30B. The diaphragm comprises: a curved surface part 10, which is deformed by external force of an actuator 5 or the like and includes a seat portion 13 abutted on or separated from a weir 32 formed in the flow passage 30 or a valve seat surface 32a on a peripheral surface of the flow passage 30; and a flange part 11 which is provided around the curved surface part 10 and is held between the valve body 3 and a bonnet 4. Inside the curved surface part 10 and the flange part 11, a spring-like member 2 for urging the curved surface part 10 in one direction is molded integrally with the curved surface part 10 and the flange part 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
