Abstract:
To provide a device including latch means that is robust and that is safe even in continual use.SOLUTION: In a device, housings are strung together and are equipped with electrical contact elements and/or functional elements 1. A support rail 2 is mounted onto a mounting base 3 in a mounting position, and can be mounted on the mounting base even in a state in which the housings have been strung onto the support rail prior to the support rail being mounted. The support rail is retained by two or more latch means 5. Each latch means is placed in a predetermined position on the mounting base prior to the support rail being mounted. The support rail can be placed and locked onto the latch means without the use of any tools. Each latch means has a base section having a cross-section which corresponds to a U-shape rotated by 180° with respect to the mounting position of the mounting base. The base section is divided into two side bars perpendicular to a horizontal base bar. Each latch means is supported on the mounting base as a thrust bearing via the two side bars.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
