To provide a device for producing a microarray, which minimizes the frequency of sample replacement and the frequency of cleaning.
In this device, samples differed in kind stored in a plurality of wells 57 of a micro-titer plate 53, respectively, are dispensed to each spot part 60 on a substrate 55 by a dispensing device 61 to form each sample combination consisting of a plurality of samples in each spot part 60, whereby a microarray is produced. This device comprises a control part 65 for setting arrangement patterns of sample combinations to be arranged on an operation unit number of substrates based on the total number of samples and the number r of samples to be combined, and controlling the dispensing means based on the arrangement patterns. The control device 65 combines the samples selected and sets the arrangement patterns of sample combinations to be arranged on the operation unit number of substrates 55.
