Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a natural composite image by photographing an object illuminated by illumination light so as to generate uniformly surface reflection on the object and performing image compositing, while using images obtained by photographing. SOLUTION: An illuminator 5 becomes uniformized illuminating light by diffusing light emitted from a light source through a diffuser on a panel. In a three-dimensional(3D) image compositer 3, the 3D shape of the object is constituted based on the depth information from a depth measuring instrument 1, texture from a video camera 2 is mapped on that 3D shape object of the object, and the 3D image of the object is constituted. Thus, since the object is illuminated by the uniformized illuminating light, the surface reflection is generated regardless of the direction of watching the object and furthermore, since the image compositing is performed while using the images provided by photographing such an object, the composite image which is not unnatural due to surface reflection can be provided.
