Abstract:
To suppress inclinations of cylindrical rollers before the cylindrical rollers are inclined and contact with a raceway surface of an outer ring, or an end face of a flange.SOLUTION: A cylindrical roller bearing comprises an inner ring 1 and an outer ring 2, a plurality of cylindrical rollers 3 arranged between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2, and a cage 10 in which pockets 12 for holding the cylindrical rollers 3 are formed. The cage 10 comprises a plurality of column parts 13 for connecting a pair of annular parts 11, 11. Clearances between peripherally-adjoining column parts 13, 13 are set as the pockets 12, roller fall-stop parts 14 oriented to the pocket 12 sides are formed at the column parts 13, a distance between the roller fall-stop parts 14, 14 which oppose each other with the pockets 12 sandwiched therebetween is set shorter than roller diameters 10d of the cylindrical rollers 3, and in a state that the cylindrical rollers 3 contact with the roller fall-stop parts 14 before the assembling of the inner ring 1, when roller axial cores 3a of the cylindrical rollers 3 are inclined to an axial core 10a of the cage 10, the cylindrical rollers 3 contact with corners 16 of the pockets 12 prior to the contact of the rollers with the outer ring 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
