Abstract:
To provide a cylinder block capable of improving a connection structure between a cylinder block and a cylinder liner to secure durability of an engine, and a cylinder block to which the cylinder liner is connected.SOLUTION: The present invention provides: a cylinder block in which at the end part of the cylinder block that comes into surface contact with a head gasket, an extension part is provided in a shape that extends toward a cylinder liner, and at the end part of the cylinder liner, a housing groove part having a shape corresponding to the expansion part is provided, so that a part of the end part connected to the housing groove part while being supported by the peripheral surface of the expansion part comes into surface contact with the head gasket; and a cylinder block to which the cylinder liner is connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
