Title:
CRANKSHAFT BEARING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2022136653
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a crankshaft bearing structure capable of discharging granular foreign matters from between a journal bearing and a crank journal, and of securing an appropriate hydraulic pressure even when using low-viscosity oil.SOLUTION: A crankshaft has a plurality of crank journals extending along an axial center Ax1 and arranged at intervals in a direction along the axial center Ax1. On each crank journal, a journal bearing is annularly mounted. The journal bearing consists of an upper journal bearing 36 covering an upper half periphery of the crankshaft, and a lower journal bearing covering a lower half periphery. The upper journal bearing 36 has an oil hole 36b penetrating through between an inner peripheral face 36a and the outer peripheral face, and a groove 36c connected to the oil hole 36b and formed in the inner peripheral face 36a in the direction along the axial center Ax1.
