PURPOSE: To stabilize a speed by taking in currents flowing through a motor when a chopper is turned ON-OFF, calculating average currents and controlling the electric rolling stock.
CONSTITUTION: A micro-computer 1 is constituted by a microprocessor 2, a RAM3, a ROM4, an oscillator 5 and a bus line 6. An analog input circuit 7 converts analog electric signals ACA corresponding to the quantity of an accelerator device 8 stepped on and analog signals obtained by passing detecting signals under the state of operation of a main circuit 10 through a level converting circuit 11 into digital signals and takes them in. An interruption circuit 14 and the flow-rate control circuit 15 of the chopper determine ON time during one period, i.e. a duty. The square waves of the output are divided into ON pulses and OFF pulses by a pulse distributing circuit 16. These pulse signals are amplified 17, and used as chopper signals in the main circuit 10. Accordingly, the currents flowing through the motor are taken in when the chopper is turned ON-OFF, average currents are calculated, and the electric rolling stock is controlled.
