Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation of sealing performance of a gland portion in a control valve.SOLUTION: A control valve includes: a valve stem (1) for driving a valve element; and a gland portion (102) for slidably holding the valve stem. The gland portion includes: a lid portion (2) which has a through-hole (2a) connected to the inside of a valve casing, and into the through-hole of which the valve stem is inserted; a spacer (3) disposed between an inner wall of the through hole and the valve stem; a sheet of yarn packing (4) disposed on the spacer; at least two sheets of adapter packing (5) disposed while holding the yarn packing therebetween in a sliding direction of the valve stem, having a thermal expansion coefficient smaller than that of the yarn packing, and constituted of a hard material; a packing follower (7) disposed on the adapter packing at a side opposite to the valve casing; a disc spring (8) disposed on the packing follower; and a packing flange (10) disposed on the disc spring and the packing follower, and fixed to the lid portion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
