Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain speedy stabilization to a set speed in a variable-speed joint to transmit the driving power of a constant-speed revolution motor to a rotary machine when a newly set speed is given by finely adjusting a speed governor after the governer is operated near to the set speed. CONSTITUTION:A rotary machine 10 is driven by the power of a constant-speed revolution motor 12 via a fluid joint 14. When the set value of a speed setter 22 is changed into (a2) at a time T1, a speed control device 24 obtains an operation time T of a speed governor 16 necessary to change a speed N1 to a speed N2 on the basis of the present speed N1 of the rotary machine 10 and the set speed N2 corresponding to the set value (a2). When the speed governor 16 is given force by this time T and the position of its variable element is changed from P1 to P2', the speed governor 16 is intermitted for a revolution-number stabilization time TK. Then, a present speed N2' is again compared with the set speed N2. When the speed N2' is out of the tolerance limit of the speed N2, the speed governor 16 is operated by a minute time DELTAT for fine adjustment, and the rotary machine 10 is brought to the set speed N2.
