Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a connection member for connecting a cover member of a start device to a drive plate to the cover member without conducting welding process.SOLUTION: A connection member 30 connects a drive plate 3 with a front cover 13 of a start device 12 and includes: a through hole 32 having a female screw part 32f with which a fastening bolt B3 inserted into a connection hole 3c of the drive plate 3 is engaged; a first protruding part 33 which is formed into a cylindrical shape so as to define an opening part of the through hole 32 and inserted into a through hole 133h from the inner side of the front cover 13; a cylindrical second protruding part 34 shorter than a thickness of a side wall part 133 which is formed so as to enclose the first protruding part 33; and an annular groove 35 defined between the first protruding part 33 and the second protruding part 34. A seal member 36 is disposed in the annular groove 35. An end part of the first protruding part 33 is crushed so as to closely contact with an outer surface of the front cover 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
