Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection detection appliance which is capable of reducing the manufacturing cost, and adaptable to a diversified kinds of unloading fittings by providing a connection mechanism to be operated through the connecting action of the unloading fittings, and including a flexible member to be brought into contact with a connection informing means through the unloading fittings in the connection mechanism.
SOLUTION: When an inner hook 2d of a lorry fitting 2 is engaged with an engagement part 1c of an oil pouring fitting 1 by sufficiently inserting an inner pipe 2b of the lorry fitting 2 into an opening part of the oil pouring fitting 1, a tip of an outer circumferential stepped part 2e of the lorry fitting 2 presses a free end part 21a of a flexible shaft 21. One end part of the flexible shaft 21 presses a switch button 19 through a pressing plate 20 to actuate a detection circuit in a switch box 18. The detection signal is outputted from the detection circuit while the switch button 19 is pressed, and completion of a connection work is alarmed to a worker by an indicating means of a lamp, a buzzer, etc. An oil spill accident when unloading fittings are insufficiently connected to each other, can be prevented.
