Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the connecting method for a water suction pipe when a portable fire pump is used while being mounted on a mobile vehicle provided with a water suction pipe connection port.
SOLUTION: The position of the suction port 6a of a portable fire pump 6 is adjusted for the connection port of a water suction pipe 9 by means of a base 3 fitted movably in the depth direction of a load carrying platform of a mobile vehicle (fire fighting vehicle) and a mounting board 5 fitted movably in the direction perpendicular to the depth direction of the load carrying platform and mounting the portable fire pump 6. The suction port 6a and the connection port are connected via a connecting means.
