Abstract:
To provide a conical bearing which enables reduction of an elastic deformation amount of a retainer during assembly to perform the assembly easily.SOLUTION: A conical bearing 1 includes: an inner ring 3 having a small flange part 5 and a large flange part 6; an outer ring 2 disposed at the radial outer side of the inner ring 3; multiple conical rollers 4 disposed between the inner ring 3 and the outer ring 2; and an annular retainer 10 having a smaller diameter annular part 11, a large diameter annular part 12, and multiple pillar parts 13. Each pillar part 13 has first facing surfaces 25, each of which faces an outer peripheral surface of the conical roller 4 housed in a pocket 14. The first facing surface 25 has: a large diameter side facing surface 25b; a small diameter side facing surface 25a which is disposed spaced apart from the outer peripheral surface of the conical roller 4 further than the large diameter side facing surface 25b; and an intermediate facing surface 25c which connects the large diameter side facing surface 25b with the small diameter side facing surface 25a and inclines so as to be gradually spaced part from the outer peripheral surface of the conical roller 4 from the large diameter side facing surface 25b to the small diameter side facing surface 25a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
