Title:
Conductive carbon
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6170804
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide conductive carbon which enables the materialization of a lithium ion secondary battery having a high energy density.SOLUTION: Conductive carbon according to the present invention comprises a hydrophilic solid phase component. The hydrophilic solid phase component has crystallites; the size La of the crystallite including no torsion in a graphene plane direction, and the size Leq of the crystallite including torsion in the graphene plane direction, which are calculated from Raman spectra, satisfy the following relation: 1.0≤Leq/La≤1.55, where 1.3≤La≤1.5 and 1.5≤Leq≤2.3. In the Raman spectra of the hydrophilic solid phase component, the percentage of a peak area of an amorphous component band near 1510 cmto a peak area in a range of 980-1780 cmis in a range of 13-19%. The dibutyl phthalate oil absorption per 100 g of the conductive carbon is in a range of 100-200 mL. The conductive carbon is caused to spread like paste by application of pressure thereto.
