Abstract:
PURPOSE: To securely and smoothly discharge the residual air and the leaked water under an impervious sheet even in a large scale water reservoir, and firmly fix the impervious sheet, in a concrete block structure for fixing an impervious sheet.
CONSTITUTION: This concrete block structure fixing an impervious sheet 4 laid on an aggregates bed 2 of a water reservoir pond or the like are provided with a block body 6 having a nearly recessed shape in the cross section, buried in the aggregates bed 2, and an internal block 10 placed in the recess of the block body 6. The impervious sheet 4 is caught between the recess and the internal block 10 and held therein. A pair of right and left exhaust air paths 12, 12 opened at both front and rear faces and one side face are provided in the inside of the block body 6. A plurality of block bodies are joined so as to connect the air paths 12, 12 back and forth.
