Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a composite material capable of sufficiently displaying the property of a dispersing material and a base material without deteriorating the mechanical property.
CONSTITUTION: The composite material is constituted of a composite material cell, composed of a 1st phase composed of a base material substance and a 2nd phase formed so as to discontinuously surrounding the 1st phase and composed of the dispersing material, as a structural unit, the dispersing material is discontinuously and three-dimensional-netlikely dispersed in the base material and the 2nd phase in the composite material cell has at least four discontinuous parts. The discontinuous part has at least one of a bonding reinforcing phase for bonding the 1st phase with another 1st phase adjacent thereto, a bonding reinforcing phase for bonding the 1st phase with the 2nd phase and a bonding reinforcing phase for bonding the 2nd phase with another 2nd phase adjacent thereto and the 1st phases are bonded more strongly with each other and the 2nd phases are fixed and held in the composite material by the bonding reinforcing phases.
