To make it possible to compact the ground surface or the like with a shovel of a hydraulic shovel by mounting a bucket whose bottom is flat on an arm of a hydraulic shovel and connecting a bucket cylinder connected to the arm to the bucket with a vibration actuator.

A bucket 5, whose bottom is flush, is mounted on an arm 3 of a hydraulic shovel where a bucket cylinder 6 connected to the arm 3 and the bucket 5 are connected with a vibration actuator 9. The bucket 5 is vibrated with the vibration actuator 9, thereby vibratingly excavating during excavation work with the bucket 5. The flush bottom of the bucket 5 is pressed against the ground surface so as to compact the ground surface. This construction makes it possible to compact the ground surface or the like with the bucket of the hydraulic shovel and eliminate the need for a vibration compacting machine, such as a rammer or a vibro plate.
