Abstract:
To provide a column-shaped contact apparatus capable of enhancing the gas-liquid contact efficiency in the honeycomb structure within a column.
In the column-shaped contact apparatus 10, containers 20, which house honeycomb structures 22, are installed in a column-shaped container 11 and a clearance 19 continuing in a height direction is present between the column-shaped container 11 and the containers 20. The clearance 19 has a flow control means 30 for making the pressure loss of the gas and liquid passing through the clearance 19 more than that of the gas and liquid passing through the honeycomb structures 22 in the containers 20.
