Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of executing color conversion processing in response to image data by effectively utilizing color conversion information related to the image data.
SOLUTION: In the case of detecting image processing control information in an acquired image file, a CPU 411 uses the image processing control information to execute color conversion processing for the image data. When the CPU 411 cannot detect the image processing control information, the CPU 411 discriminates whether or not the image file includes an ICC profile, and when detecting the ICC profile, the CPU 411 uses the ICC profile to execute the color conversion processing for the image data. When the CPU 411 cannot detect the image processing control information and the ICC profile, the CPU 411 discriminates whether or not the image file includes photographing information, and when detecting the photographing information, the CPU 411 uses the photographing information to execute the color conversion processing for the image data.
