Abstract:
To provide a torque transmission switching type ratchet clutch capable of releasing torque in excessive torque input, and capable of simplifying or omitting strength processing for components.SOLUTION: A clutch includes an outer ring 3, an inner ring 5 arranged radially inside the outer ring 3 so as to be coaxial with a central axis of the outer ring 3 and relatively rotatable to the outer ring 3, and a torque transmission unit capable of transmitting torque centered on the central axis between the outer ring 3 and the inner ring 5. The clutch comprises a restriction mechanism that restricts transmission of input torque exceeding a predetermined size from an input torque transmission member to the drive wheels of the outer ring 3 and the inner ring 5, and transmission of reverse input torque exceeding a predetermined size input to the driven wheel of the outer ring 3 and the inner ring 5 to the input torque transmission member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
