Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clutch capable of suppressing generation of noise when starting rotational drive of a drive side rotor.SOLUTION: A rolling element 44 arranged between a driven side rotor to which a rotational driving force from a drive side rotor 42 is transmitted and a clutch housing 41 prevents rotation of the driven side rotor by being pinched between the clutch housing 41 and the driven side rotor when the drive side rotor 42 is not rotationally driving. A support member 43 which holds the rolling element 44 and which can integrally rotate with the drive side rotor 42 includes first and second inclined surfaces 69a, 69b for generating a load which makes it hard for the support member 43 to rotate around a rotation axis line of the drive side rotor 42 when starting rotational drive of the drive side rotor 42. When starting rotational drive of the drive side rotor 42, by the drive side rotor 42 pressing the rolling element 44 via the support member 43 in a rotation direction, the pinching of the rolling element 44 by the clutch housing 41 and the driven side rotor is cancelled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
