Title:
CLUTCH MECHANISM OF HYDRAULIC SPEED CHANGER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2669990
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PURPOSE: To compact the axial dimensions of the longitudinal switching mechanism and main clutch mechanism of a hydraulic speed changer and simplify the structure of each mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: A main spool 30 for switching a main clutch is freely rotatably fitted into the hollow portion of a distributor ring support shaft 25 and the advance and retreat positions of a hydraulic pressure distributor ring are set to be those approximately 90 degrees turned in opposite directions from a neutral position. A cruciform oil passage 116 for shortcircuiting is formed in the main spool 30 and a pair of oil passages 117 for the main clutch is formed in the distributor ring support shaft 25, the pair of oil passages being open to the outer peripheral surface of the main spool 30 with a phase difference of approximately 180 degrees and open also to an outside space portion. Whether the hydraulic pressure distributor ring is in the advance, retreat or neutral position, the clutch can be turned off by rotation of the single main spool 30.
