Abstract:

To provide a soil cleaning agent, which can be manufactured by a simple method.

A cleaning agent for ground water and soil polluted with a volatile organic halogen compound is a composite particle comprising iron (Fe), wustite (FeO), magnetite (Fe3O4), and hematite (Fe2O3), and is characterized in that the BET specific surface area is 0.5-5.0 m2/g, the ratio of the sum of peak intensities of wustite and magnetite to the total of peak intensities of iron, wustite, magnetite, and hematite in an X-ray diffraction spectrum is 0.4-1.0, and iron having a crystal grain size of 50 μm or more is contained.
