Abstract:
To correctly recognize characters of not only a correct answer, but also a wrong answer in performing character recognition on answers to description type questions.SOLUTION: A character recognition device generates answer sets in which at least one of existing questions, one or more correct answers to the existing questions, and one or more answers to the existing questions and keywords extracted therefrom are made to correspond to each other, selects one or more answer sets out of the answer sets based upon one or more object questions as answers to be subjected to character recognition, object questions as questions on which the object answers are based, and keywords included in at least one of correct answers to the object questions, and performs character recognition on the object answers using, at least in part, the existing questions, one or more correct answers to the existing questions, and one or more answers to the existing questions included in the selected answer set.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
