PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deposition of solid fuel within a carbon-containing solid fuel supply apparatus.SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon-containing solid fuel supply apparatus 20 which comprises: a solid-fuel conveyance chute 21 for conveying solid fuel supplied from a supply port 21a provided upward in a vertical direction by rotating a screw 21b extending in a conveyance direction along an axis Z1 inclined from a horizontal surface and an axis X ; and a solid-fuel loading chute 22 connected to the solid-fuel conveyance chute 21 at a connection position C, and guiding the solid fuel conveyed to the connection position C by the solid-fuel conveyance chute 21 along an inclined surface 22a inclined toward a predetermined falling position. A tip end, in a conveyance direction, of the screw 21b is disposed at the same position as the connection position C in the conveyance direction or at a position further protruding to the solid-fuel loading chute 22 than the connection position C in the conveyance direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
