PURPOSE: To provide a capstan screw by which a manufacturing process is reduced and from which even a general tool hardly slips out and by which a fitting condition of the tool can be easily maintained.

CONSTITUTION: A spanner 30 having the proper size is selected, and when it is applied to a head 4 of a capastan screw 2, the spanner 30 comes into contact with it in the middle of a side surface 4c, and the spanner 30 does not move downward. When the spanner 30 is rotated in this condition, the capstan screw 2 rotates, and a projecting quantity D can be adjusted, and as a result, a touch of a key 11 can be adjusted. Therefore, rotation adjusting work of the capstan screw 2 performed by inserting the spanner 30 into an extremely narrow space, can be easily performed only by placing the tip of the spanner 30 on a position of the head 4. Since the capstan screw 2 can be easily molded in an almost single process by casting press by using a header whose inside surface is the same shape with the head 4, a manufacturing process is reduced, and manufacturing cost is reduced.
