Abstract:

To provide such a cam-shaft high-frequency induction heating coil and a cam-shaft high-frequency induction heating method that can aim at simultaneous heating as well as uniform heating of individual cam pieces by a single power source, although of a simple structure.

An integrated structure of a coil body P made by combining a plurality of coil component members 2d1, 2a, 2b, 2c, 2d2arranged in correspondence with cam faces S on an outer periphery of a plurality of cam pieces 3d1, 3a, 3b, 3c, 3d2so as to be continued as a series. A pair of coil component members arranged in correspondence with the pair of cam pieces 3d1, 3d2adjacent to the pair of journal parts 1a, 1b of the cam shaft 1, respectively, are to be circular coil component members 2d1, 2d2of one turn, and coil component members arranged in correspondence with the cam pieces 3a, 3b, 3c placed between the cam pieces 3d1, 3d2are to be circular arc coil component members 2a, 2b, 2c with a part of the one turn electrically cut off.
