Title:
CAMERA USING FILM PROVIDED WITH MAGNETIC STORING PART
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04178641
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation of a film and the deterioration of the flatness of the film by releasing a guide member from being brought into press- contact with the end surface of the film in its width direction when the release of a camera is inhibited.

CONSTITUTION: The camera is provided with a pressure plate 7 for firmly fixing a magnetic head 8 so that the head 8 may be accurately positioned on the film 9 and which is provided with guide parts 7c and 7d for controlling the position of the film 9 in the width direction when information is readout/ written from/to the magnetic storing part of the film 9 at the time of photographing, and the guide part 7c and 7d are brought into press-contact with the end surface of the film 9 in the width direction. But, in such a configuration, the guide parts 7c and 7d are kept in a press-contact state with reference to the end surface of the film 9 for long hours. Then, when the release of the camera is inhibited, the guide member is released from being in a press-contact state with reference to the film end surface by a releasing lever so that pressure may not be applied to the film.
