PURPOSE: To obtain a camera surely recording data by a simple method by detecting the voltage of a power source for moving a film to control the recording timing.
CONSTITUTION: The drive block MD of a motor for taking up or rewinding a film drives the motor for the forward rotation, reverse rotation, brake and stop via the motor control signal from a control block CTL. A voltage detection block BC for detecting the voltage of a battery to move the film resistor-divides the battery voltage at the preset resistance ratio via the signal from the control block CTL then A/D-converts it, and the voltage of the battery is digitally detected and outputted to the control block CTL. There is a correlation between the moving speed of the film and the power voltage, when the power voltage is detected, the wound quantity and moving speed of the film can be estimated, and recording can be performed at the timing suitable for them.
