Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam shaft assembling method capable of suppressing shaft misalignment between a cam piece and a shaft.SOLUTION: In a cam shaft assembling method, a cam piece 30 with a cam crest is loosely fitted into a hollow shaft 20 and bonded with an adhesive. A plurality of through-holes 21 point-symmetrical about the axial center of the shaft 20 are formed in regions, to which the cam piece 30 is bonded, in the shaft 20. When the cam piece 30 and the shaft 20 are bonded together, the adhesive is poured at constant pressure into the shaft 20.
