Abstract:
A cam profile of this cam (20) is provided with a cam surface (21) that has, at one end in the circumferential direction, a rotation end (28) which does not allow a cam shaft (22) to rotate in the reverse direction due to a cam follower (30), the cam follower (30) being in contact with the cam surface (21) from the rotation end (28) to an open end (29) which is the other end in the circumferential direction. The distance of the other end in the circumferential direction of the cam surface (21) from the cam shaft (22) is greater than the distance between the cam shaft (22) and the rotation end (28). As a result, the pressure angle in a lift region of the cam is greatly mitigated, and a smooth action and miniaturization can be achieved.
