PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable covering method capable of easily covering a cable with a covering material made of a soft synthetic resin foaming material.SOLUTION: A cable covering method includes: a covering material preparing step (A) for preparing a lower covering material 7a and an upper covering material 7b made of a soft synthetic resin foaming material; a cable placing step (B) for placing a cable 6 on the lower covering material 7a; an adhesive applying step (C) for splaying an adhesive 10 to the lower covering material 7a and the cable 6; an upper covering material placing step (D) for superimposing and placing the upper covering material 7b on the lower covering material 7a; and an adhesion step (E) for closely adhering mutually the lower covering material 7a, the upper covering material 7b, and the cable 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
