To provide a cable conduit, a socket joint, and a cable laying method using the same, which is especially appropriate for an optical fiber cable and capable of reducing a laying tensile of the cable and the friction against an existing cable.
A threading wire guide 2 enables a threading wire to be inserted inside it along the axial direction within a conduit. A cable conduit 1 comprises a slit 3 for a pulled member which is continuously provided in the axial direction of the threading wire guide 2, with a gap width t of the slit 3 for a pulled member enabling passing of the pulled member while the gap width is smaller than the maximum outside diameter of the threading wire. A socket joint has, on its socket surface, a label indicating a tolerable width for displacement in circumferential direction of the threading wire guide 2. A pulled member fitted to a cable is attached to the threading wire, which is threaded in the threading wire guide 2. The pulled member is threaded in the slit 3 for a pulled member, and the threading wire is continuously pushed in from a cable pulling-in side.
