To obtain a simple cable carrier which is reduced in size and cost, by forming a cutout in a transverse direction at certain intervals along a longitudinal direction of an elongate tubular member made of a synthetic resin.
This cable carrier A is formed such that notches 2 are formed at certain intervals in a transverse direction along a longitudinal direction of an elongate tubular member 1 having a rectangular section made of synthetic resin. The notches 2 are formed at sides opposite to each other and having the same depth, each of upper and lower notches 2 reaches almost vicinity of a center of the side part, and a central part between each of the upper and lower notches 2 constitutes a part 3 connecting short tubular pieces 1a divided by the notches 2. Therefore, cables 4 can be stored and protected inside the elongate tubular member 1. This table carrier A can be obtained by simply extruding, thereby eliminating the need for complicated die and troublesome assembling work. Accordingly, a simple cable carrier which is reduced in size and cost can be obtained.
