Abstract:
To provide a braking device and mobile furniture that are less deteriorated over time.SOLUTION: A braking device 50 comprises: moving parts 54B, 54C, 55B, 55C that can rotate with a rotor comprising a wheel 51 and a rotational shaft 52, and are attached so as to be movable between a retraction position and a braking position in accordance with the relative relation between a moving direction and a direction in which gravity acts, in the movement direction orthogonal to the rotational shaft 52; and restricting parts 56B, 57B that the moving parts 54B, 54C, 55B, 55C in the retraction position can avoid, and can restrict the movement of the moving parts 54B, 54C, 55B, 55C in the braking position in a circumferential direction of the rotational shaft 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
