Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a braking device capable of being installed even on a vehicle having only a regeneration brake, and operating even in emergency.SOLUTION: A braking device 100 includes an actuator 50 having: a cylinder 41 provided on a wheel hub 33 side of a knuckle 10; and a piston 42. The cylinder 41 is a bottomed member, and has, therein, a combustion chamber 44 partitioned by a partition plate 43, and a pressure control chamber 45. Inside the combustion chamber 44, gas generating agent 46 (gunpowder) is fully input, and an ignitor capable of igniting the gas generating agent 46 is provided. At a tip of the piston 42, a friction member 60 capable of imparting friction resistance to a flange 32 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
