Abstract:
To provide a braking device of a track traveling type machine capable of simplifying and miniaturizing a structure by reducing the number of component parts and of reducing cost.SOLUTION: A braking device 40 of a track traveling type machine (a container crane 10) includes an equalizer beam 32 on which traveling wheels 31 freely rolling along a traveling rail Rx are provided, and presses a brake pad 41, which is mounted on a lower surface of a pressing frame 43, against the traveling rail Rx to perform braking by telescopic operation of a fluid pressure cylinder 42 provided on the equalizer beam 32. The braking device includes: a support bracket 32b projected from a side surface of the equalizer beam 32 and mounted with the fluid pressure cylinder 42; and a cutout part 33 formed on a lower part of the equalizer beam 32 to be engaged with the pressing frame 43 and receiving horizontal force in the longitudinal direction of the traveling rail Rx acting on the pressing frame 43 in performing braking.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
