Abstract:
To provide brake equipment for a track travel type machine capable of braking stably, while mitigating a load to a rail and the base, and elongating a lifetime of the whole equipment.SOLUTION: Each of a plurality of travel devices 8 in which travel wheels 7 rollable along a rail 4 are disposed, includes a distributed brake mechanism 40. The distributed brake mechanism 40 includes a fluid pressure cylinder pressable on/separable from a brake pad in a direction orthogonal to the rail 4 to a travel vehicle rolling surface 4a of the rail 4, and a fluid pressure unit for expanding/contracting the fluid pressure cylinder by feeding/discharging working fluid to/from the fluid pressure cylinder, and for setting pressing force of the brake pad below a basic withstand load of a rail laying spot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
