Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overspeed braking device which is excellent in safety while being reliable in operation.
SOLUTION: An overspeed braking assembly 80 is composed of brake rods 81 and 82 at both sides and a spring 83 which connects the brake rods together, and hook blocks 813 and 823 provided respectively at the underside of the brake rods are inserted into insertion holes 55 and 58 of a brake disk 50 and hung on arch-shaped flanges 56 and 57, and attachment is made with conduction blocks 812 and 822 fitted into the insertion holes. As the overspeed braking assembly revolves at high speed, the brake rods expand at their upper ends, resisting against a spring force of the spring 83, and braking thin pieces 811 are pressed against the wall surface on the inside of a motor main body, thus braking is applied by friction and the brake disk is stopped.
