Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake shoe engagement part structure of a vehicular drum brake capable of reducing the number of components and man-hour of assembling and capable of performing the positioning and temporary retention upon the assembling of a web.SOLUTION: A pin member 17 having a columnar collar part 17a and an umbrella part 17b of a diameter larger than the collar part are attached to a portion corresponding to other end part 8b of a web of a backing plate 3, a concave part 8c engaged with an outer circumferential surface of the collar part 17a is formed on the other end part 8b of the web 8 and a curvature radius of the concave part 8c is set larger than the curvature radius of the collar part 17a.
