Abstract:
To obtain a brake shoe assembly having an improved new structure which can attain, for example, a required vibration state of a vibration piece, and to obtain a vehicle drum brake.SOLUTION: A brake shoe assembly of the disclosure includes, for example, a brake shoe having an outer peripheral surface which faces a first inner peripheral surface of a drum rotor, has a cylindrical shape, and extends in an arc shape at a substantially certain width; a lining fixed to the outer peripheral surface; and a vibration piece which has a plate-like shape, is fixed to the brake shoe at one position, and has a protruding part extending along a width direction of the outer peripheral surface and protruding to the radial outer side of the outer peripheral surface farther than the outer peripheral surface. An end edge of the protruding part has a curved shape protruding to the radial outer side of the outer peripheral surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
