Title:
ブレーキライニングの摩耗検出センサー、およびディスクブレーキ装置
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP7151998
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To provide a wear detection sensor for a brake lining capable of detecting a worn state of the brake lining step by step without considerably increasing cost.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a sensor 10 for detecting a worn state of a brake lining 5 consisting of a friction material in a disc brake device comprising a conductive disc brake 2. The sensor comprises: a main body part 11 consisting of a friction material of which the hardness is equal to or lower than that of the brake lining; and multiple pins (12, 12a, 12b, 12c) which are embedded in the main body part so as to be parallel with each other. The main body part has thickness twhich is equal to or less than thickness of the non-used brake lining. The multiple pins are connected to an external circuit 20 via a lead wire 21 while exposing proximal ends outside of the main body part, distal ends are embedded to a predetermined depth position with respect to the thickness of the main body part, and the external circuit detects conduction of a pin of which the distal end is exposed with wear of the main body part, and the brake disc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
