Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a disk brake improved to hold a car to a prescribed position at the landing time and stop the car emergently and used in an elevator system.
CONSTITUTION: This disk brake 2 is installed to a machine shaft namely drive sheave to hold a car to a prescribed position at the landing time. Further, in detail, this disk brake device has such mechanical merit that a smaller solenoid 36 can be used to keep the brake in 'off' state.
