Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably generate auxiliary brake force that hinders sudden rotation of an output-side rotation member.SOLUTION: A brake device 3 comprises: an outer ring 10; a brake shoe 20; and an output-side rotation member 30 disposed radially inside each brake shoe 20 and having a counter face 36 counter to the inner surface 23 of the brake shoe 20 on an outer periphery; and an input-side rotation member 40 capable of applying rotation torque to the output-side rotation member 30 by coming into contact with the brake shoe 20 or output-side rotation member 30. The brake device is configured such that rotating force input to the output-side rotation member 30 is prevented from rotating the input-side rotation member 40 in at least one rotating direction. The brake device 3 further comprises a friction member 90 having: a pressure contact part (a projecting part 94) disposed in pressure contact with an inner peripheral surface 11; and an engagement part (a projecting part 94) circumferentially engaged with the brake shoe 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
