Abstract:
To obtain a brake device capable of omitting imposition control or assembly adjustment and relaxing working accuracy in a brake disc.
The brake device that stops the rotation of a hoisting machine by pressing a brake pad, supported by a frame, to a brake disc, fixed to the rotary shaft of the hoisting machine or a brake drum includes a roller that is rolled on a surface of the brake disc or the brake drum in contact with the brake pad and is disposed on both sides of the brake pad, a spring that applies energizing force applied onto the brake disc or the brake drum onto the roller and is supported by the frame at one end, and a bearing stand that movably supports the frame.
