Abstract:
To further finely control a behavior of a vehicle at a start from a stop of the vehicle.SOLUTION: This brake control device comprises: a fluid pressure brake control part for controlling a fluid pressure brake which makes a wheel generate a fluid pressure brake force by a fluid pressure operation mechanism; and an electric brake control part for controlling an electric brake which makes the wheel generate an electric brake force by an electric operation mechanism. When the electric brake control part performs release control for automatically releasing the electric brake force from a state that the electric brake force is generated, the electric brake control part releases the electric brake force during a changeover period after a start of the release control up to the lapse of a prescribed time, the fluid pressure brake control part generates the fluid pressure brake force, and the fluid pressure control part releases the fluid pressure brake force after the changeover period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
