Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable a single vacuum table to cope with a board positioning operation and a board positioning suction pin unit to cope quickly with a switch of printed board in type by a method wherein a suction pin which sucks and fixes a printed board in position is held and fixed in a freely attachable and detachable manner, and the suction pin fixed in position is connected to a vacuum tube in a freely attachable and detachable manner.
CONSTITUTION: A board position fixing device is composed of two guide rails 1a and 1b, a support plate 2 located below the guide rails 1a and 1b, back-up pins (support pin) 3 and suction pins 4 both inserted into the support plate 2, and a lift 5 which holds the support plate 2. A connection tube 12 is connected to the suction pin 4 through a detachable universal joint 11. The other end of the connection tube 12 is linked to a universal joint 13 provided to each necessary point under a support pedestal which supports the stationary guide rail 1a. The universal joint 13 is connected to a vacuum pump with a vacuum tube 14.
