Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade mounting structure of a torque converter capable of properly mounting a blade to an outer shell while minimizing looseness and separation with a simple work process.SOLUTION: An inner wall surface 10a closer to an outer shell outer peripheral edge 1a among a plurality of recessed grooves formed on an inner surface of an outer shell 1 of a torque converter is composed of an inclined inner wall surface 10a inclined so that a recessed groove depth side is positioned closer to the outer shell outer peripheral edge 1a with respect to a recessed groove opening side. An edge portion 20a closer to the outer shell outer peripheral edge 1a among a plurality of projecting portions 20 disposed on an outer edge portion 2b of a blade 2 is composed of an inclined edge portion 20a engaged with the inclined inner wall surface 10a, and the outer shell 1 is provided with a caulking portion 4 for inhibiting the movement of the blade 2 in a direction closer to an outer shell inner peripheral edge 1b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
