To provide a bidirectional torque limiter that is prevented from generating a torque difference depending on a rotation direction.SOLUTION: A bidirectional torque limiter 1 includes a base 60 interposed between an outer ring member 30 and one end side 40e in an axial direction of a coil spring 40 facing the outer ring member 30 to hold a close contact state between wound parts 42 of the coil spring 40 by supporting the one end side 40e of the coil spring 40 when an inner ring member 10 rotates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
